Internship (10 Week Placement)

We are looking for an intern with ideas, energy and charisma. Applicants with any graduate or under-graduate degree from Bath or Bristol University considered.

About us:

EZ Education are the creators of DoodleMaths, a maths learning programme for children aged 4-14 at home and in school. We are in our fourth year and in a high-growth phase – our current team is 12 and we envisage doubling this by the end of 2018.

We have a fabulous team of diverse individuals (programmers, teachers, sales, marketeers, administrators, designers) who share a love of education and technology. Above all, we value resilience and adaptability. Things change quickly in a startup and it is our highly productive, creative and ambitious team who make it work! We enjoy off-site activities too such as our mountain biking trip in October or our summer BBQ – it’s really important to have fun with your colleagues.

Interested in joining our team?

  • You’re polite, warm and great at communicating face-to face and in writing.  You’re thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • You’re smart and pro-active; you’re a fast learner; you think ahead. You’re positive and optimistic, addressing issues that need to be changed rather than complaining or feeling helpless. You are able to work independently on your own, but are also a great team player.
  • You’re tech savvy and competent. You enjoy being behind a computer, answering email, using Twitter and Facebook.
  • You love our app DoodleMaths and want to be an integral part in our mission: to build bespoke learning packages which build confidence in children.
  • You are OK with change, even when quite rapid. You’re happy to do what needs to be done.

The role is flexible but it is likely that you will be responsible for some of the following:

  • Providing a high level of general customer support via telephone and e-mail.
  • Working closely with other team members on our sales and marketing.
  • Ensuring our KPI dashboard is kept up-to-date with the latest figures.
  • Assisting in the running of current campaigns and promotions.
  • Helping to plan exhibitions at Education Trade Shows.

This is a paid internship and you will receive £300 per week and 6 days holiday. A number of successful interns have gone on to hold full-time positions in the company.

If interested in applying, please e-mail a covering letter, describing why the job is of interest to you, along with a CV to We are always looking for excellent candidates, applications are always open.
